My Boyfriend Started A Music Blog!

My other half has just started a music blog. I'd love if you could check it out / follow!
I'm proud of him for starting / pursuing it because I know he's a busy lad. I even managed to convince him to post about Kyary Pamyu Pamyu because I know he loves her really!
The blog is called repeat all and features lots of unique and indie music!

"Repeat All is a Cambridge, UK Indie music blog that started out in October 2012 with the sole intention to bring you all the best tunes that make you want to dance around the room doing the bendy knees dance!"

October Favourites

While trying to think of something blog about I realised October was nearly over and it was time for a favourites post! I've discovered a good variety of items recently and these are the cream of the crop
So here are my favourite beauty products this month!

Barry M Blusher - BL1
I've actually had this blusher for a while but I was a little scared to use it because it is a very bright pink, I bought it because I really wanted candy pink doll cheeks. I recently starting using this properly, I use a light wash on the apples of my cheeks and it gives me really sweet doll like cheeks! I can't put this down!

Sugarpill Palette - Heartbreaker Palette
This is my most recent purchase from Sugarpill. I am such a massive fan of their products, and I actually want everything they sell so I decided to save a few quid and opt for a palette rather then buying the products separately. I choose to get the Heartbreaker palette, I wasn't too sure I would like 2pm as a colour but when I played with it I actually really liked it! Mochi is my favourite, I looove the way it applies, such a gorgeous colour.

O.P.I Nail Polish - On Her Majesty's Secret Service (From Skyfall Collection)
Recently John Lewis opened in Exeter, I've no interest in anything they sell except for O.P.I! I went in knowing I needed to buy a polish, ANY POLISH. As they had the Skyfall collection I decided to pick a colour, I chose this one as it's just gorgeous in sunlight. It's a gunmetal grey with really unique duo-chrome shimmer.

Tony & Guy Sea Salt Spray
Everyone's been talking about Sea Salt Sprays recently, but I didn't want to spend a lot on something I'd never tried. Boot's we're selling it 1/3rd off the original price so I thought I'd get one, I use it in dry hair and give it a little scrunch and it gives my tips a nice wave / texture as they're so straight and boring naturally!

L'oreal Super Liner in Intense Black
I've been looking for a really thin liner for a while but I wanted a felt tipped one as I find them easier to use, this one is perfect!

Lush - Ultrabland
I had been hearing about how wonderful this product was from my friend Jade. When I was in Lush the lovely shop girl was showing me and another girl how good it was and I caved and bought the smaller tub. I tend to go for facewipes to remove make-up because it's more convenient but they tend to either hurt my eyes or leave them feeling irritated afterwards, I've also tried liquids and creams for removing makeup but this is in a league of it's own. I apply it to my face and rub it in, I also close my eyes and rub it across my lashes and with a warm damp flannel I remove everything, it leaves my skin feeling very soft, and most of all it's as gentle as using water, my eye's always feel fine afterwards! I really love this product and couldn't imagine using anything else!

Lush - Angels on Bare Skin
This is another product I got from the trip the Lush above, I wanted soemthing I could use daily but that wasn't too harsh on my skin, It leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean, like I have just used a mask but quicker and less effort!

So this is everything! I imagine these will still be my favourites in november but I'll have to try and find something equally as wonderful! Thank's for looking!
What have you been loving this month?

Something that I love

When I was young I really loved My Little Pony, I still think they're adorable but I definitely prefer the old style. When I was little me and my best friend had 100 odd between us which we used to take to each others houses and have adventures with them.

I don't have anything to do with the new MLP but I still get nostalgic about the older styled ponies.
Which leads me of to tell you about something that I love, which is Laura's art from LoveLauraLand on Deviantart, What she does is get old ponies and customise/modify them, and I love how unique and fun they are! She is really talented and turns old toys into works of art.

You can get a piece commissioned from her, they're not cheap but what you're getting a truly one off piece. You can enquire on her website or Deviantart (link's at the end of the post)

Here are some of my favourite pieces!

Cicely Margo Review

For a good few years I have been lusting after some jewellery from Cicely Margo.
I am a follower of her Flickr, specifically stalking her I Want Candy folder, because for anyone who loves colour and jewellery as much as I do, it's an absolute dream!

So after a long week at work I decided to treat myself at last, I have always loved these necklaces and seeing it on Twinkie Chan just made me want it even more!

The website is very easy to navigate and has a simple (but nice!) layout.
I placed my order on 2nd October and the necklace was shipped on the 3rd.
I'm afraid I don't have any pictures of the packaging as it arrived on my birthday and I was too excited to wait! It came inside a bubble mailer and was wrapped up in lots of tissue paper (There might of been some extra bubble wrap but I don't remember!)

The necklace it's self is a huge glittery pink heart made from resin, the back is flat and the rest of the heart is entirely covered in AB Rhinestones. It's really sparkly, I made a short video just to show you!

The back of the necklace has a gold bail which is attached to a sturdy gold chain.

There is a cute little extender with a pink faceted bead

What I really love is the little custom Cicely Margo tag, it's such a wonderful touch!

I am really pleased with this necklace, it meets all my expectations, Cicely (I believe that's her name!) makes wonderful products that are truly unique, and I'd say well priced, The necklace was $35 and shipping to the UK was around $3 which is incredible. The postage price does increase with more items but only slightly, I hate buying from companies that have a high starting price for postage as it tends to put me off if I only want one item.

The shipping was fast, the jewellery is lovely and incredibly well made, and well priced.
I wrote her a rambling comment on Facebook and her reply was really nice so I'm going to say her communication is good also!

Overall I would give Cicely Margo 5/5 as I literally can't find fault!

As I am typing this I have a giant gummy bear necklace in my shopping cart that I am debating purchasing! (The only thing putting me off is I should really be saving...and I kind of want the sold out pink one more :( )

Cute Can Kill Review

There are a few companies in the world that I love beyond all explanation.
One of these companies are Cute Can Kill. What was once a dream team duo has become one. (The other girl has her own adventure called Ciali in Kawaiiland, you can see my review here)
However the current owner / designer Lila has one of the most exquisite creative imaginations I have ever come across. Not only are the designs incredibly unique but they are so so cute!

For me her jewellery is the definition of cute. However there is a catch. Because she is just one lovely lady that makes all the jewellery there is often big gaps between shop updates and due to how popular they are you have to be pretty on the ball to get the best pieces. I have two rings from CCK which I got quite a while ago. I never seem to have money during the other updates. This time by some miracle I had just checked Facebook and seen a post which said she was just about to update the shop! I managed to get two necklaces (One of which I really wanted from the last update) and a pair of earrings.

The items came packaged in a cute little pink bag and was tied up with a bow.
There was a sweet note attached to the front.

What I really like about CCK is that extra personal touch! Plus, pink pen!

Each item comes in it's own little self seal bag and each one has a lovely pastel artwork backing which is all drawn by the owner herself!

The first I got was this wonderful pegasus unicorn necklace. It's made using glitter resin and is a mixture of lovely shades. There is also a heart charm with Cute Can Kill hand painted on it.
This is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen, let alone owned!
I never thought I would of been able to get my hands on one but I did!
And I am so happy with it!

Next up are these lovely pastel pink glitter heart earrings.
They're a really nice size, not too big but big enough to make an impact!

The last one is similar to a necklace I missed out in previous update.
Although pink and purple are my favourite combination I actually really loved the combination on this necklace! I really love the glitter and the colour transition!

The necklace comes on a cute plastic pink chain and is closed with a large lobster clasp.

I am very happy with my purchases and I overjoyed that I managed to get he pieces that I wanted. When you buy them she will email you asking for your shipping preference. I chose the standard because I didn't have much money, but I know the Italian postal service can be pretty horrendous. As the items are so unique, it may be worth opting for the registered if you don't want to take the risk!

The items arrived in abut 7-10 days (I can't remember but it wasn't to bad! I think it was closer to 7 days.)

Each piece is well made, they're not full of air bubbles, They're sanded on the backs so they're smooth and there are no rough parts. The fastenings are all very secure. A lot of the items have painted accents.  The items are really unique and one of a kind pieces. You know that you will always be wearing something no one else will!

So out of 5 stars I would rate it 100, okay... 6. FINE 5.
Either way, amazing.
